Louise Minchin is a well-known and much-loved television presenter and journalist.

For twenty years, Louise presented BBC1’s flagship morning show, BBC Breakfast, which has an average audience of 6 million viewers a day.  From the famous red sofa, she covered every major news story and interviewed politicians, celebrities and ordinary people who were making the headlines.

Her warm and engaging personality ensured she was a favourite with viewers and a national treasure for millions of households across the nation.

In 2021 Louise starred in ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here which took place in a derelict castle in North Wales.  She has also appeared in Channel 4’s reality history show The Time Crashers (2015) and was a runner-up in the BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef (2016).

Her first book DARE TO TRI charted Louise’s triathlon journey and was published by Bloomsbury in 2018 and was shortlisted for a Telegraph Sports Book Award.  Her second book FEARLESS: EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURES WITH COURAGEOUS WOMEN was published in May 2023 to rave reviews with the Times calling it ‘brilliant, impressive and vividly told’.

Inspired by her experiences on reality television, Louise’s debut thriller ISOLATION ISLAND was published by Headline in Autumn 2024. It received widespread praise with Peter James calling it ‘gripping and compelling’ and C.L. Pattison describing it as ‘slick, smart and suspenseful’.
