Georgia Levy
Georgia Levy is a recipe developer, food writer and consultant whose upbringing in rural Oxfordshire revolved around two questions: what are you reading, and what’s for dinner? With a mother determined to grow her own and a seasoned food writer for a father, pursuing the union between food and words was Georgia’s natural calling.
She initially spent five years working under Rose Gray and Ruthie Rogers at the River Café. It was here that the seasonal, straightforward cooking of Georgia’s childhood took on a new significance, confirming her belief that exceptional food can be created with just a few simple ingredients.
Georgia moved into running her own catering and restaurant consultancy company, which led to writing for various publications such as the Guardian, Sainsbury’s Magazine and Waitrose Food. From there, she began helping cooks write and style their cookbooks and columns. It was a natural progression for Georgia to write her own cookbook, and LET’S DO LUNCH was published by HarperCollins in 2022. She continues to work as a freelance recipe developer and consultant, bringing her passion for achievable cooking and seasonal vegetables to every job she does.
