Fiona Duncan

Fiona Duncan is the Telegraph Travel’s Hotel Expert.  She is also a regular contributor to Country & Town House Magazine.

She began her career at Nova magazine and Woman’s Own in Swinging Seventies London. She went on to write COOKING AFLOAT and to help create, and contribute to, the influential CHARMING SMALL HOTEL GUIDES series, published by Duncan Petersen.  She co-founded The Hotel Guru website where she and a fellow group of well-renowned critics provided expert advice on hotels across the globe, espousing those with character, authenticity and commitment, and casting out the bland, the boring and the rip-off.
