Vatch Bhumichitr

Vatch Bhumichitr is Britain’s best-known Thai chef and restaurateur. He is the author of THE TASTE OF THAILAND (Pavilion) and VATCH’S THAI KITCHEN (Ryland Peters & Small). He has also written VATCH’S SOUTH-EAST ASIAN COOKBOOK,  VATCH’S SOUTH-EAST ASIAN SALADSVATCH’S THAI STREET FOOD,  STYLISH THAI IN MINUTESTHE BIG BOOK OF THAI CURRIES  and, most recently, THE BIG BOOK OF NOODLES, which were all published by Kyle Cathie.

Vatch splits his time between Cinnamon Beach Villas, his cookery school on the beautiful island of Koh Samui in Thailand, and Britain, where he retains an interest in a restaurant in London’s Maida Vale.
