Kimberly Parsons founder of ‘Retreat’ café started her career as a Naturopath. After selling her naturopathic practice in 2008, Kimberly made the bold decision to move her surroundings to the heart of the Chianti region, Tuscany, Italy where she lived in a 15th century villa set amongst a beautiful Tuscan olive grove. Sampling seasonal work as a chef between villa’s in Tuscany and French chalets in the alps, Kimberly taught herself the art of cooking.
Moving to London in 2010 Kimberly began work as a private chef in Notting Hill Gate whilst publishing her first recipe book in Norway in 2012. Titled ‘Suitcases of Recipes’ the book is the culmination of her travel and food experiences, photography and memoirs.
THE YOGA KITCHEN was published in 2016 by Quadrille and followed up with Kimberly’s latest book THE YOGA KITCHEN PLAN in 2019. A BALANCED LIFE was published in 2021 by Quadrille.
