J.C. Emmington

J.C Emmington was born and bred in Cambridgeshire, where she still lives. She has a background in museums, helping bring the past to life in exhibitions ranging from Ancient Egyptians to the British Royal Family.  She has organised events featuring live reindeer, sea scouts and a pneumatic Tyrannosaurus Rex (not all at once).

She has been addicted to creative writing since winning her first short story competition in primary school, and has been scribbling pretty much every day since.

Her novels are inspired by strong female characters – real or imagined – set against some of the most compelling and vivid backdrops in history.
