Valentina Harris grew up in Tuscany, has written authoritatively on many aspects of Italian food and appeared on television regularly since her first BBC television series, Italian Regional Cookery, in 1990. Her titles include VALENTINA HARRIS’S COMPLETE ITALIAN COOKERY COURSE (BBC Books), RISOTTO! RISOTTO! and, more recently, SLOW, both published by Octopus Publishing. Valentina’s major series on regional Italian cookery is published by Anness Publishing and her latest book FIORI DI ZUCCA, a fascinating memoir about her Italian family and a ‘life in food’, was published by Duncan Baird Publishers in June 2013.
Without doubt ‘the Queen of Italian Cookery’, Valentina lives and works in London as a consultant, teaches atLa Cucina Caldesi in Marylebone, London and runs her own cookery courses in different parts of Italy.
