Australian-born Sue Quinn is a cookery writer and food journalist. She was strongly influenced by the flavours of multicultural Sydney where she grew up, and has also drawn on her extensive travels as a foreign correspondent as inspiration for a number of her cookery books.
Her latest title, Easy Vegan, was published in the UK and Australia in March 2015. Previous cookbooks include The Kids Only Cook Book (2013, Quadrille), Crackers (2013, Hachette), Easy Japanese Cooking (2012, Hachette), Easy Spanish Cooking (2011, Hachette).
Sue also writes regularly for the Guardian, the Telegraph and Delicious magazine, including recipes and articles about food trends, ingredients and producers. She has also written a popular cookery blog, Pen and Spoon, since 2012. Sue lives by the sea in Dorset with her husband and two children, who all share her love of making the most of the area’s wonderful fresh produce. Sue won the Fortnum & Mason’s Online Food Writer award in 2016.
