Kimberly Parsons founder of ‘Retreat’ café started her career as a Naturopath. After selling her naturopathic practice in 2008, Kimberly made the bold decision to move her surroundings to the heart of the Chianti region, Tuscany, Italy. Where she lived in a 15th century villa set amongst a beautiful Tuscan olive grove. Sampling seasonal work as a chef between villa’s in Tuscany and French chalets in the alps, Kimberly taught herself the art of cooking.
Moving to London in 2010 Kimberly began work as a private chef in Notting Hill whilst publishing her first recipe book in Norway in 2012. Titled ‘Suitcases of Recipes’ the book is the culmination of her travel and food experiences, photography and memoirs.
Currently writing her second cookbook, Kimberly is an integral part of London’s yoga & wellness revolution & is making it her mission to change the way we see health food.
